It would appear that Apple has done it once again. The new Iphone 4g was given up to broad fanfare and hopes of reinforced functionality and features during the month of June. Not ready to except the hype at face value, we settled to give the new Iphone 4g a test spin and fancy what it can do for ourselves. What we found during our review of the phone was pretty startling. Steve Jobs not only delivered a product that delivered upon its promises, but he delivered a product that actually outperformed everyone's anticipations. Now, we are going to show you some of the new features of the Iphone 4g that makes it better than its predecessor and makes it a must have for the tech savvy.
1. Improved Design
With a thickness of only 9.3 mm, the Iphone 4g has become the slimmest smartphone on the market. That is not the only innovation in the invention of the phone, however. It is also one of the most long-run smartphones on the market. It is constructed of high-impact Aluminosilicate glass, which makes it 30 times stronger than conforming plastic. The band which serves up as the antenna, and on which the components are mounted, are made of a steel admixture that is up to five times stronger than traditional steel.
2. The Retina Display
Practicing a technology called In-Plane Switching, the Iphone 4g's Retina display is the sharpest display on earth. By contriving picture elements that are only 78 micrometers wide, the Iphone 4g is able to pack four times as many pixels into the same space as previous Iphone models. This gives the Retina video display a pixel concentration of 326 picture elements per inch. By contrast, the hominal eyeball is only able to pick up 300 pixels per square inch. This makes the Retina display the world's first regular high definition mobile phone display.
3. Improved Battery Life
To power the Iphone 4g, Apple has formulated batteries that improve the battery life over previous Iphone models. This battery allows users to surf a 3G net for a total of 6 hours, talk on the phone for a total of seven hours and use WiFi for a total of ten hours. It also allows the user to store over ten hours of video and 4 hours of music.
4. Better OS
The Iphone 4g use an operating system named OS4. This operating system allows for users to enjoy the benefits of actual multi tasking. Users can use coexisting third-party applications and instantly switch between them. OS4 also has better background monitoring, so multiple background apps won't cheapen the performance of the foreground application.
Os4 also has improved application management for the Iphone 4g. Users can organize all their application programs into divided folders for smoother access and better arrangement. Os4 is able to cope over twenty-one hundred applications. a good deal more than the average user will use. Its folder structure also employs drag-and-drop functionality that makes it user friendly.
5. True Gaming Platform
The Iphone 4g has a true gaming platform that allows for a whole mixture of diverse games to be run on it. This is thanks to a three-axis gyro that is matched with an accelerometer. This allows the users to manipulate three dimensional position, rotation range and acceleration. This is the perfect combining that is required for developed accuracy from applications and games.
6. Contributed Features
Iphone 4g allows users to attain a mixture of different tasks such as high definition video cutting (thanks to the phone's video capture of 720 pixels @ 30 frames per second) and video-phone calling.
