Ronnie Viera, formerly CIO and Senior Vice President of Information
Technology at CAPITAL G Bank, has been appointed Senior Vice President of
Information Technology & Operations at First Atlantic Commerce.
Mr. Viera has over 30 years of experience in IT and Operations. A
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified
Information Security Manager, he has experience across various industries
including Banking, Insurance and E-Commerce. In the past decade, Mr. Viera
has headed up Information Technology departments in three different
companies including CAPITAL G Bank Limited, a Bermuda-based bank, The
Argus Group, a Bermuda insurance company, and from 2000-2004, First
Atlantic Commerce.
Christopher Burns has been promoted from VP, International Business
Development at FAC to Senior Vice President, Business Development. Mr.
Burns, who joined FAC five years ago, heads up the company's Business
Development team that is responsible for all aspects of client
relationship management. He also runs the company's international channel
partner programme, and builds and maintains bank acquirer relationships
and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining FAC, Mr. Burns was a Managing Consultant at a leading Pan
European Search and Selection company based in the UK, and was responsible
for building the company's European presence. Mr. Burns holds a BA (hons)
degree in Business Management.
