Here's a really simple way of jumpstarting your journey towards success. The great
philosophers, the great speakers and the most successful people all around the world
all agrees on one thing. It is this one thing that allows all of them to achieve the
goals of their dreams. And even move on to teach others this one simple method.

Many people who find that they are coming to roadblocks over and over again in their
pursuit of success should read this article very carefully. Many times as you go
out and put yourself on the line, or even declare to the entire world that you want
to be successful, you would come to the frustration of failure. Failure is painful.
No one in the right frame of mind would enjoy the process of failure. But it is
this very failure that causes people to drop the dream and the pursuit of the ideal
life.

This article would address the issue of failure. How the successful people handle
it and all the unsuccessful people totally make it a blunder.

The key trait to all successful people is that they have the ability to reframe what
has happened, to something that is positive and empowering.

What is the meaning of reframe?

Reframe is simply a way for you to view a situation or to view a circumstance as
something which is positive and useful to you, versus something that drags you down
emotionally.

For example, when a successful person meets with the prospect and the prospect turns
him down and refuses to even look at his product, he would see this event as a
learning experience. He would see this as an opportunity for him to fine-tune his
presentation or perhaps even gather feedback from the customer to figure out what it
is that needs tweaking.

The strange trait of successful people is that they refuse to see failure as failure
but to see failure as feedback. In NeuroLinguisticsProgramming we say that there is
no such thing as failure, only feedback.

Successful people refuse to allow the negative thoughts to enter their mind. They
believe that their mind is a temple and it is very important that they only allow
what is empowering and useful to flood their mind.

Unsuccessful people on the other hand allow circumstances to happen to them and in
the very first response decide that that circumstance is negative and they are
losers.

You may think it's funny, but do think about it for a second. Let's say you ask
someone out on a date and your date says no. How would you feel? Do you feel
rejected? Do you feel ugly? Do you even feel unworthy of asking another person out
on a date? These are simply symptoms of the un-empowered mind.

A person who had been a student of personal development for a very long time would
know that they are in control of their mindset.

Earl Nightingale said this," You become what you think about"

What he means is that when you sow a seed of doubt, doubts begins to grow. But when
you sow a seed of possibility, possibility begins to expand around you. What do you
focus on expands.

All of these can be summarized in two simple points.

1. Avoid all negative thoughts.

2. Only focus on what you truly want.
------------------------------------------------------------
To begin to feel totally aligned and excited about pursuing your goals, you must
feel in control of your mind. Thousands of books on personal development had
repeated over and over again that your mind is the key to attaining everything you
want. Dr. Denis Waitley, the clinical psychologist for the American Olympic team,
once did a research on mind muscle connectivity. What they had found was very
strange. They found that when the athletes perform to their routine or ran only in
their mind, the same muscle groups in their body actually fired in the exact same
sequence as if they were running the real event.

Your mind is such a wonderful and powerful tool that when harnessed can produce
unbelievable results.

Go ahead and test out the limits of your mind. See if you can filter out all
negative thoughts, and only allow empowering thoughts to enter. When you master
that, you would begin to see unbelievable things happening in your life.
